I’m Audrey, and I’m so excited to work with you and your Little Learner!
I’ve been immersed in early childhood education for the past nine years, and I’m going into my seventh year teaching kindergarten. As an elementary teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how easy it is for kiddos to fall behind and how hard it can be for them to catch up without the right support. That’s why I started Little Learners Tutoring—to inspire a love of learning through one-on-one teaching, personalized lessons, and fun activities!

Your kiddo’s academic journey should be challenging, but it shouldn’t be stressful.
I want your child to feel confident in their abilities, excel in school, and have fun doing so. All students have what it takes to do well academically—it’s just a matter of teaching them in a way they understand. When your child works with me, I’ll figure out what their unique learning style is and design lessons that fit their learning needs. Best of all, I’ll make learning fun!

How It Started…
I fell in love with teaching when I was in kindergarten—I would read to my “class” of stuffed animals, make practice worksheets for my imaginary “students”, and “teach” lessons to my (not always willing) little sister. By the time I was in high school, I knew I wanted to teach and knew I wanted to teach elementary kiddos!
I went to college to pursue a degree in education and graduated from the University of Portland with a bachelor’s in Elementary Education, a minor in Spanish, and a Reading Endorsement certification. It was there that I taught abroad, teaching littles in Quito, Ecuador, and fell in love with teaching kindergarten. I’ve since taught elementary students for the past several years, and I currently teach kindergarten alongside tutoring!
One of my favorite things about teaching is watching the “aha” moment kids have when they understand content for the first time—that split second when everything suddenly clicks. I love watching their faces light up and seeing how proud they are of themselves when they finally understand a challenging concept.

Get to know me
I love all shades of pink, but light pink is my all time favorite color—it always has been and probably always will be!
I LOVE dogs of all breeds and sizes, but doodles (specifically goldendoodles!) will always have a special place in my heart.
“Me” time looks like taking a pilates or yoga class—or both! Fun fact: I teach kids’ yoga alongside tutoring and teaching!
Traveling, hiking, and walking on the beach are a few of my favorite things to do when I’m not in the classroom.
